Sree Venkateshwara Temple situated near CHBS 3rd Layout in the centre of Vijayanagar in Bangalore City.
The Temple has two entrance gates called MAHADWARAS, one on the Southern side and another on western side. The Temple faces East. The Main diety is LORD VENKATESHWAWRA INSCRIBED SRIDEVI AND BHOODEVI surrounded by JAYA, VIJAYA, GARUDA, GANAPATHI and NAVAGRAHAS.
As you climb the steps from the SOUTHERN SIDE & enter the temple, one can have darshan of LORD VENKATESHWARA. The spacious hall with NAVAGRAHA Garbhagudi on northern side can be seen. Behind Venkateshwara temple one can proceed towards PRAYER HALL.
PRAYER HALL is quite spacious to accommodate large number of people. Administrative office is situated in northern side of the temple. The north east corner has been utilized for prasadam room and it is used for distribution of prasadam.
The Temple opens with SUPRABHATHA Seva at 6.00 A.M. followed by Pooja Vidhi and concludes with Mahamangalarathi.
Theertha Prasada is distributed by about 11 A.M. everyday. In the evening the Temple opens to public at 6.00 PM and poojas & sevas are duly performed accompanied by Mahamangalarathi, Theertha Prasada and Shayanotsava. The Temple closes its doors by about 8.30 P.M.
The Temple has provided free acccommodation to Archakas.
